Fifteen years ago today Shepparton's Allan Turner launched Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation in memory of his daughter's heartbreaking death.
Mr Turner has raised not only local but national and international awareness around organ and tissue donation.
And he said he had no plans to slow down.
“Everything we do is about getting the message out there,” Mr Turner said.
“We want to highlight what great work Zaidee's memory has done for the subject or organ and tissue donation.
“The way we as a family and as a charity has been supported and continue to be supported national in every state and territory is very humbling to say the least.
“The work that the foundation has done and will continue to do to help save and improve the lives of everyone that needs a transplant today, tomorrow or in the future will never stop.
“We cannot do this without the thousands and thousands of great supporters over the past 15 years from every part of this great land.”
During those 15 years, the foundation has sold or given away more than two million pairs of rainbow shoelaces.
