Shepparton’s Amanda McCulloch will take the reins at The Fairley Foundation, seeing it through until its merger with The Community Fund Goulburn Valley.
Ms McCulloch took over as the foundation’s chief executive this week.
Ms McCulloch said she had big shoes to fill, but was excited to take over from Cheryl Hammer while she focused on contesting the Shepparton seat in the November Victorian election.
‘‘I’ll take over until the end of the year, then the Greater Shepparton Foundation is starting after the merger between the foundation and The Community Fund GV,’’ she said.
‘‘The Fairley Foundation will continue to operate but in a much more scaled back sense.’’
Ms McCulloch has worked heavily in the Shepparton community through her businesses Big Rocks Consulting and Lady Boss Events. She has also worked as the Shepparton Festival’s general manager.
Ms McCulloch said she was looking forward to meeting everyone in the community that the foundation worked with and urged people to get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org
