Safety at school crossings

School holidays have finished, and that means that school crossing will be active again.

School speed zones are designed to improve safety for school children by lowering the speed of traffic near schools.

They operate throughout each school term between 8am to 9.30am, and from 2.30pm to 4pm, which are the peak times that children arrive at and leave schools.
