Moira Shire Mayor Gary Cleveland said he was proud of how the Cobram event had grown in the past four years.

Cobram’s Federation Park will come alive early next month as Moira Shire once again hosts Rumble in the Gums.

All the favourites will return, with skateboard sessions by Richard from OwnLife, live performances by local musicians including Delirious, inflatable laser tag, an animal petting farm, and this year there will also be market stalls.

Moira Shire Mayor Gary Cleveland said he was proud of how the event had grown in the past four years.

‘‘Rumble in the Gums started out as a small home-grown event with just a few local kids and each year the event just keeps evolving and getting better,’’ he said.

‘‘This year we received $2000 from the Victorian Government which has helped us stage the event.

‘‘The youth of Moira should be incredibly proud of what they have created, it’s a fantastic day out,” Cr Cleveland said.

Rumble in the Gums 2017 is scheduled for Sunday, April 2 from 10am to 4pm at Federation Park, 68 Punt Rd, Cobram and is run in conjunction with Youth Foundation.
