Speaker is stolen

Shepparton police are investigating a theft from a vehicle.

Shepparton police Senior Constable Tim Metcalfe said a large car audio speaker and other small items were taken from the vehicle that was parked at Glory Way, Shepparton.

The incident happened on February 3 about 11am.

He said two women with brown hair were seen in the area.

Clubrooms trashed

The Kyabram Football Clubrooms were ransacked on Sunday morning.

Kyabram police are investigating after unknown offenders gained entry to the Dawes Rd clubrooms, ransacked the premises and stole some items.

Speedster cited

A Kyabram man, 21, was stopped by police in Lancaster after being caught travelling 24km over the speed limit.

Kyabram police pulled over the probationary driver at about noon on Monday, after they caught him driving at 124km/h in a 100km/h zone on a Lancaster road. He was issued with a penalty notice.


Cannabis found

Five mature cannabis plants were found at a Cobram property yesterday morning.

Cobram police Crime Investigation Unit detectives swooped on the Allan Drive property at about 9am, and found five medium-sized marijuana plants.

Detective Sergeant Marcus Boyd said a Cobram man, 32, was assisting detectives.

The man is expected to be charged with cultivating, possessing and using cannabis.
